Counseling for Youth and Single Parents

Adolescents and young people of immigrant families have difficulties in adapting to a new culture and they are experiencing identity confusion. Family Alive helps them adapt to a new culture with a healthy self-identity, and helps young people prepare for marriage with a healthy view of marriage and maintain a happy marital relationship. Family Alive also provides counseling for young parents raising children as single parents.

Relief for Refugee Families

In Metro Vancouver, BC, Canada, there are many refugees from countries that are suffering from disasters such as inter-country wars or tribal wars. Family Alive works to help these refugees settle into life in Canada.

Eswatini Orphan Relief

Eswatini is a landlocked country in southern Africa with a population of about 1.2 million. There are many AIDS orphans because 27% of the population HIV carriers and many people die at a young age. In addition, 40% of the population is poor, making a living on less than $2 a day. Family Alive supports children’s education and food for the poor through an NGO, Good Helpers, that works to help children and relieve the poor in Eswatini.

Third World Microfinance

Microfinance is a way of providing credit loan to low-income people in the Third World who cannot get loan from banks to start small businesses. Family Alive supports the poor in the Third World through microfinance.
